Alex is pursuing a Full-Time MBA with an emphasis in Social Impact and Sustainability at the Rotman School of Management. She is a finance professional with over six years’ experience in investment analysis and corporate strategy development across Canada and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder.

In 2022, Alex received the BMO Capital Markets Equity Through Education Scholarship for students with disabilities in recognition of her essay on how her recent ADHD diagnosis has helped her to embrace and appreciate the ways in which her mind works differently. Alex’s personal journey of overcoming challenges in the early years of her career was a source of inspiration for her proposed research project as a GATE MBA Fellow. Her study will explore a possible connection between the comparatively lower rates of ADHD diagnosis in women and the underrepresentation of women in upper management positions. Alex’s goal through this project is to identify effective strategies for organizations to accommodate and support women with ADHD, enabling them to thrive and achieve greater success in their careers.
